Cheerful Kid English lessons for children aged 4-7 in Pécs and in the neighborhood. Lessons are interactive,with lots of songs, rhymes, intresting exercises with the help of movements and acting. The program developes the child’s visual and auditory attention focusing on the age specifications. Lessons are in a small group (max. 10-12 children) and once a week for 30-35 minutes. The child’s developement is continuous, lessons are intense.
Lessons are built on a countinuous progress in topics using songs, rhymes, new vocabulary such as animals, food, fruits, vegetables, family, housing, weather, vehicles, parts of the body, instruments,verbs, simple expressions, features, jobs. At the end of the program we listen to tales in English and children are puppeting them.
The program lasts from October to May for 1 or 2 years. In the first year only oral development lasts from October to December and from January we use a kind of workbook at the end of the lessons including written develpments too. These written exercises are very simple they are adapted to the children’s needs and abilities.The children’s attention and concentration developes through the written exercises and lasts only for 5 minutes at the end of the lesson. We close the lesson in this way. In the second year we use the workbook from the beginning and only at the end of the lesson. Children like it very much. The workbook is figured out to help the children in their growth. The 2 years are built on each other, but can be used separately too. So the program is made for children for the second and third year at the kindergarten.
The 1 or 2 years program helps children to be prepaired for the primary school’s first year.
